Visual Communication

Objective

Class is for beginning level students who are interested in industrial design. Even though students have no experience in art or design, this class will guide students to sketch easily anything from simple objects to complicate forms.

 

Requirement

  • Prismacolor Colored Pencil
  • Ball Point Pen / Felt Tip Pen
  • Sketchbook / Letter size papers
  • Markers
  • iPad Pro / Apple Pencil

Age

  • 14 and older

Class Size

  • 10 students

Line/ Shape

  • Get comfortable with line and shape
  • Understanding using different mediums

Understanding Forms

  • Concept of contour line
  • Form exploration

Texture and Pattern

  • Texture / Pattern Study
  • How to apply on 3D Forms

Understanding form and function

  • Understanding transitional form
  • Marker Value Study
  • Observation Study
Note: You can get class schedule and detail syllabus when you are enrolled the course. Syllabus can be modified under certain condition such as level of students in class.
